Abel Izaguirre (og Abel)
Grew up in the ghetto beautiful, non-peaceful, and non-quiet South-Central area of Los Angeles =).
He started doin graff in the early 80s and soon after became “Sphere” “Sfear one” of the D.E.F. (Doin Everything Fresh) crew. He would later join W.C.A., One of L.A.'s most well known graff crews of that time. One of his early pieces is featured in the Spraycan Art book (a sexy girl character with a flower on her head)
In the late 80’s he was introduced to the airbrush by His friend Mister Cartoon (a former member of D.E.F). He and Cartoon would travel the Lowrider and custom car show circuit through-out the southwest painting on tees and on cars.
Years later he enrolled in the Visual Communications program at L. A. Trade Technical College. It is there that he got a first try at Graphic Design, Illustration, Production and Digital Art. He graduated from LATTC in 1997.
In the late 90s he created an urban figurine line called the Locsters. He then followed with the Hood Hounds, Hood Rascals, and then Hood Pups, Which have sold millions throughout the USA.
Some of his clients to date include: Sony, Coca Cola, Univision, ABC, Converse, General Motors, Osiris, Peterson Auto Museum, Primedia, Discovery Channel, Korn, P.O.D., Lowrider Magazine, Osiris Shoes, Jesse James, Third Rail, Tribal Streetwear, Hottopic, Journeys, Agenda, Seventh Letter

In 2007 he launched a shoe collabo with Osiris Shoes, selling a million plus pairs of shoes to date across the globe.
That same year he introduced his own clothing collection called "OG ABEL" which took off like a Southern Cali brush fire on a hot summer day. You can now find his designs for purchase at malls throughout the world.
