Young K
K was born in the small city of Takasaki in Japan.
In his early years he had an interest in learning the complex art of jewelry making.
During his teen years as he discovered his talent, his passion for the
craftgrew stronger.
At a young age, K showed strengths in drawing, wax carving, and the manipulation of precious metals.
Soon this artistic drive brought him toTokyo for school, to study further.
After graduation came the realization
that he needed some adventure, and what could be more exciting and new thanLos Angeles.
Once he moved, life for K would take an amazing and
unexpected turn, with the introduction to Casey "Eklips" Zoltan, founder of The Seventh Letter Crew.
The Seventh Letter is an artist collective known globally for their
innovations in graffiti art, design, tattoo, jewelry, and media.
Collaborating with Eklips and other Seventh Letter Artists, K became themain force behind TSL ARMOR , The Seventh Letter s jewelry division.
Since 2006, K has been hard at work producing silver pieces for TSL ARMOR.
The pieces are an extension of the Seventh Letter's graphical illustrations
which have been converted from apparel graphics to silver pieces. K's
ability to show the finest of details have brought these illustrations into
a new realm of view.
As K refines his work and process, his style and abilities continue to
evolve. TSL Armor continues to grow with new pieces designed and produced by K.

伊藤啓市 aka Young Kーーー群馬県高崎市で生まれ、幼い頃から
自分の手を使って何かを作ることが好きだった。
そんな彼が地元で見かけたシルバー・アクセサリーは彼の物づくりに対
する意欲をジュエリー制作の意欲へと換え、その情熱は日に日に強く
なっていく。
高校卒業と同時に本格的に貴金属の知識を学ぶために、東京にあるジュ
エリーの専門学校へ入学し、ジュエリー制作に関する専門知識を身につ
けた。そして卒業後、さらなる経験と刺激を得るために、シルバー・ア
クセサリーの聖地、ロサンザルスへ向かった。
ロサンゼルスのとあるジュエリー・ブランドのファクトリーで働いてた
時、ザ・セブンス・レター（以下TSL）の創設者、ケイシー“イ
クリプス”を知人に紹介される（TSL＝グラフィティ・
アート・クルーとして世界的に知られていて、デザイン、タトゥー、映
像、音楽と活動の場を徐々に広げている）。そして、彼の技術、センス
が認められ、イクリプスと共にTSLのジュエリー・ライン『TSL
ARMOR』（ティー・エス・エル・アーマー）のプロジェクトをスタート。
2006年に本格始動したTSL ARMORは、2008年から日本での
発売も開始した。
デザインおよび制作を手がける彼は、ストリートの要素を取り入れた作
品、TSLのメンバーやエステヴァン・オリオールとのコラボレー
ション作品など、TSLならではのオリジナリティ溢れる作品を展
開。
今後は特にTSLのメンバーとのコラボレーション作品に力を入れ
ていく予定で、ますます目が離せない。
