I painted this from a photo I had taken years ago under the 5 fwy. Ive come across many homeless people through the years. This image is a brief snapshot into their daily struggle. Here he is, completely crashed out in his shopping cart, after a long night of scraping to get his next meal, the discarded lettuce falls from the shopping cart and begins to wilt.
