LA Weekly Mural

I was commissioned to paint a mural in the lobby of the new LA Weekly building in Culver City. I felt an abstract depiction of downtown Los Angeles was appropriate. I was inspired by a photograph that I had taken years ago from the rooftop of the famous Taft building on the corner of Hollywood and Vine. The photo was a little blurry so it was a great reference for a looser style of landscape.
