A Noble Cause In Honor of a Noble Man
In 2003, "Tempt" was diagnosed with ALS (Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis), a rare neuromuscular disease characterized by progressive muscle weakness and resulting in paralysis. For the past year, Tempt has been courageously battling this disease in the hospital. Those who love and care for him are filled with the hope that he can return home to the loving care of his family. This will undoubtedly lift his spirits and strengthen his will to continue to fight this war against ALS. However, due to the seriousness of this disease he will need special medical attention, around the clock nursing and equipment to sustain him in a home environment.
In order to make this vision a reality, we are organizing an Art Show featuring some of the world's most prolific Graffiti Artists, who have agreed to donate all of the proceeds from their work to raise funds to provide Tempt with the care he will require at home.
If you would like to register to donate a piece of artwork for this event please go to: www.knowngallery.com/temptone. Unfortunately not all submissions will make this show due to limitations on space in gallery.
On behalf of Tempt, his family and his friends, we thank you for your generous support and for your love.

Gompers Middle School, Watts, Los Angeles.
On Saturday December 2nd Gompers Middle School opened their campus to local and international graffiti artists. Over 32 artists showed up coming from areas of Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, New York, Arizona, and Canada. Many students of the school joined the effort helping the invited artists complete their walls. Overall the project was a success. Although some of the faculty at the school was confused as to the content of some of the artwork, most were able to accept the final product as an improvement. This is the first time this school has had an overall paint job in over 15 years. The project was such a success that the mayor's office offered to have all of the new "murals" covered with a graffiti-proof coating! Graffiti getting protected with a graffiti-proof coating.... Times are changing man!

An exciting phone call came into the Saberone Studio. Ron English was coming to Los Angeles to do some guerrilla billboard work and wanted Saber to be involved.
Ron English is one of the most technically superior oil painters today. His distortion of pop culture gives us a clear vision of reality. He will always hold my respect for this and for the work he’s put in on the public level.
The billboard of choice is on the west side of La Cienega, just south of Airdrome in Mid City, a prime location. First Ron put up the bill, then Saber did his thing.
With the ladders, spray paint, rollers, wheat glue, etc., and it took a couple hours. They did it in the middle of the day, and somehow got away with it. And it looks great lit up at night.

Our friends at AerosolFiends.com sent us this nice collection of flicks. Every single photo you see here plus many, many more are available for purchase at www.aerosolfiends.com for $0.50! They print on 4by6 glossy fuji crystal archive paper.. this paper & the finishing process we use offer the best combination of image quality, color, sharpness & fade resistance. Fuji crystal archive paper is known for its vivid colors along with more brilliant whites and clear detailed highlights. They don't use a desktop printer! They order their prints in bulk from a company on the east coast and duplicates are actually better quality than the originals. Yes, REVOK did their logo!
