Downtown LA's Crewest Gallery, attracted over 600 people who gathered at the opening reception of The Sharpie Show on Saturday night to check out the amazing technique, style and quality of artwork created with one simple tool, the Sharpie, by known graffiti artists, illustrators, tattoo artists and even photographers. Flashes from camera's flickered all night long to capture favored artwork and to be able to share with friends what they missed out on. George Clinton blessed the evening with colorful strokes on canvas with Jonas and long time friend,Overton Loyd,as they busted an original piece all done with Sharpie pens.

The Sharpie Show exhibit will be part of the Downtown Artwalk this Thursday, February 12th from 12pm to 9pm. The exhibit runs thru March 1st. Don't miss out!

Check out Crewest's website at www.crewest.com for gallery hours and location.
